Modified on Mon, 12 Feb 2024 at 04:56 AM

The validity of the Fortinet Certified Trainers (FCT) certification is currently two (2) years. FCTs must meet the recertification requirements to keep their FCT status up to date, and to continue their training delivery authorization.

The mandatory FCT recertification requirements are as follows:

  1. Remain an employee of the Authorized Training Center (ATC) sponsor.
  2. Keep the highest achieved FCP, FCSS, or FCX certification up to date. The FCT must hold a valid FCP, FCSS certification on the relevant track based on their the training delivery authorization.
  3. The FCP, FCSS, or FCX certification time to expiration should be greater than 3 months.

Other considerations that mentors will review with FCTs in their periodic meetings:

  • Remain in good standing in the FCT certification program.
  • Deliver a minimum of 4 training sessions per year.
  • Attend train-the-trainer sessions offered by Fortinet.
  • Maintain a good average CSAT score.
