Why I had my FCT certificate revoked or set as expired?

Modified on Fri, 11 Jul at 11:49 AM

Factors that will be taken into consideration and may cause a certification to be revoked if not met are:

  • Remain in good standing in the FCT certification program
  • Deliver a minimum of 4 training sessions per year.
  • Attend train-the-trainer sessions offered by Fortinet.
  • Maintain a good average CSAT score.

If an FCT candidate fails to meet the maintenance requirements:

  • The sponsoring organization and the trainer will be informed.
  • If there is no resolution, the FCT credential will be deemed expired, and the candidate will have to re-qualify.

FCTs may also lose their certification for the following reasons:

  • Teaching unofficial material.
  • Breaching the Business Code of Conduct.
  • Delivering NSE courses without authorization from Fortinet.
  • Delivering NSE courses for unauthorized Training Centre
  • Ending employment contract with Authorized Training Centre: trainer is no longer sponsored by the ATC.

An FCT certification can be reinstated if the individual holds valid Trainer Assessment badges and is sponsored by a new ATC that meets the eligibility requirements.
