How to upload my upcoming ATC public schedule sessions to the Fortinet Training Institute schedule page?

Modified on Thu, 6 Jun at 4:50 AM

Fortinet allows ATCs to increase their business by making them visible on the official Fortinet public training schedule website: https://training.fortinet.com/local/schedule/.

ATCs should submit a list of the users authorized to upload their ATC training calendar of Fortinet courses to atc@fortinet.com.

Please take note of the following important details:

  • Each authorized ATC user must have an active Fortinet Training account.
  • To simplify the authorization process, ATCs with multiple locations can assign a single user to upload the schedule for multiple ATCs.
  • Alias emails are not allowed for this purpose.

Authorized ATC user should follow the following process to upload their upcoming ATC public sessions to https://training.fortinet.com/local/schedule/

  1. Log in to the Fortinet Training Institute portal at https://training.fortinet.com/auth/saml2/selectidp.php
  2. On the left menu, click Manage Schedule.
  3. On the Manage Public Schedule page, click Import Schedule to start loading the training classes. On the Import Schedule page, you will see:
    • The course(s) the ATC is authorized to teach with their FCTs
    • The import values that must be used to enter the course names in the Excel import template. (An example is included.)
  4. Meet the following requirements when filling out the Excel import template to ensure the training data is correctly uploaded.
  5. Download the Excel import template—example.csv—here:
  6. Fill out the template file and save it in the (*.csv)format.
    • Enter one training course per row.
    • Enter the required information for each column.
  7. Upload your file using one of these options:
    • Click Choose a file.
    • Use the drag-and-drop method.
  8. Click Upload Schedule to continue or Cancel to stop and start again. Fortinet will email you a notification with your Schedule Import Report.
  9. Download the Schedule Import Report (Excel file) using the link provided in the email notification and review the information in column A to see if any courses are listed with any status other than "Imported" (e.g. Course not approved, Invalid Time zone, etc.).  Note: To fix the courses that did not load properly, submit a new Excel file (*.csv format only) with all the required information.
  10. To validate your new training imports, on the left menu, click Manage Schedule. You should see the list of imported courses. You can filter the list by several criteria: course name, region, start date, end date, language, location, and guaranteed to run.

Uploaded courses will be advertised at https://training.fortinet.com/local/schedule/

If you have questions about this process, contact atc@fortinet.com.
