Training SKU Structure Update – Effective Q1-2025 (February 3rd, 2025)

Effective February 3rd, 2025, all training SKUs are now based on course duration, to simplify the ordering of Fortinet training.

NSE Training SKUs

Use these SKUs to order Fortinet Training Institute courses that help prepare students for NSE certification exams. See the Fortinet Training Institute Purchasing page to identify the SKU associated with each NSE training course.

• Instructor-led training: 

For seats in a public training session, see the list of all classes on the Fortinet Training Institute Schedule page. If you cannot find the required course in your time zone, contact us by creating a ticket here. 

• These SKUs are formatted as FT-ILT-DXX, where DXX is the predetermined number of training days per person per course. For example: FT-ILT-D02 corresponds to a 2-day NSE training session per person. 
• Upon purchase, the customer will receive an enrollment voucher to redeem for the required course (public or private).
• Purchases of minimum 6 students for the same course qualify for a private training session. To request private delivery, follow these instructions: How do I initiate the private training delivery coordination for the private session I purchased?

• Self-paced, on-demand labs: 

Enhance your self-paced learning experience with hands-on lab activities. Students can complete labs within the self-paced course at their own pace. See the Fortinet Training Institute Library page for the list of labs. 

• These SKUs are formatted as FT-LAB-HXX or FT-LAB-DXX, where HXX or DXX is the predetermined number of lab hours or lab days, respectively, according to the course description. For example, FT-LAB-H20 provides 20 hours of lab access within the self-paced course. 
• Upon purchase, the customer will receive an enrollment code to redeem in the requested course at the Fortinet Training Institute Library page

Custom Workshop SKUs

These SKUs are for private technical training workshops tailored to the customer’s needs, such as a unique project or a topic requiring dedicated training content. 

• These SKUs require scoping to determine the customer's training needs. 
• Minimum 6 students.
• These SKUs are formatted as FT-CTM-DXX, where DXX is the number of training days determined in the custom training agenda. For example, FT-CTM-D05 corresponds to a 5-day custom workshop session. 
• Upon purchase, Fortinet Training team will initiate custom content development and coordinate training delivery logistics with the customer.

Add-on SKUs for Private Sessions

These SKUs are for extra services for private training sessions, either NSE training or custom workshops that can be added to the customer’s training experience according to their requirements. For example, onsite delivery (FT-ONSITE), creating a custom self-paced page with private training recordings (FT-RECORD), and shipping fees (FT-SHIP) for printed material (FT-GUIDE).

According to the product lifecycle announcement, old training SKUs can be used for ordering until April 1st, 2025.
