What are the web browser recommendations?

To use the Fortinet Training Institute (https://www.training.fortinet.com), we recommend using the latest Google Chrome browser.

To download Google Chrome

1. Open a browser.
2. Go to the following URL: https://www.google.com/chrome/.
3. Click Download Chrome.

To check your Google Chrome version and update

1. Open Chrome.
2. At the top right, click the More icon ().
3. Click Help > About Google Chrome to check your version and whether you are up to date.
4. If there is an update available, update to the latest.

  Lesson Not Showing as Completed

Once you complete the lesson, the Fortinet Training Institute displays a check mark indicating the lesson is marked complete. For example:

If you met the completion criteria for the lesson, but the lesson on the Fortinet Training Institute does not show a check mark, the following is recommended:

• Ensure you meet the browser recommendations. See Browser Recommendation for more information
• Clear your Google Chrome browser cache. See To clear your Chrome browser cache for more information.
• Allow pop-ups from the Fortinet Training Institute website (https://training.fortinet.com/). See To allow pop-ups from the Fortinet Training Institute.

To clear your Chrome browser cache 

1. Open Chrome.
2. At the top right, click the More icon ().
3. Click More tools > Clear browsing data.
4. From the Time range drop-down list, select All time.
5. At a minimum, clear your Browsing history and Cached images and files.
6. Click Clear data.
7. You may wish to relaunch your browser.

To allow pop-ups from the Fortinet Training Institute

1. Open Chrome and in the URL field type: chrome://settings/content/popups.
2. Under Allowed to send pop-ups and use redirects, click Add.
3. In the Site field, type https://training.fortinet.com.
4. Click Add.

To allow the Fortinet Training Institute to use cookies

1. Open Chrome and in the URL field type: chrome://settings/cookies.
2. Under Customized behaviors and Sites that can always use cookies, click Add.
