We are currently unable to extend the duration of the lab workspaces. Fast Track Workshops are all set for a runtime of 5 hours. This has been determined as an optimal length of time for working on lab exercises that is not too demanding for students. If you find that your students are consistently running out of lab time, you may want to try the following:
Request the Fast Track workshop to start at the time you think students will be prepared to start the lab activity. Allow time for students to settle in and for the instructor(s) to conduct the theory presentation and Q&A portion before the requested class start time. This will give students the full 5 hours for the hands-on portion.
Customize the lab activity to focus on only the exercises that are appropriate for the needs of your students. Many of the lab activity use cases are designed to be optional, allowing them to be completed in non-linear order or skipped altogether. If you have a compressed timeframe, this can provide you with additional opportunities to get in front of the customer to deliver the same workshop multiple times but focusing on different content.
