I am currently NSE 4 certified. What is required to achieve one of the new certifications?

If you passed the NSE 4 FortiOS exam on or after October 1, 2021 and want to become a Fortinet Certified Professional (FCP), you can take a minimum of one of the exams listed below--before October 1, 2023--to achieve the new certification:

 

- NSE 5 FortiAnalyzer
- NSE 5 FortiClient EMS
- NSE 5 FortiManager
- NSE 6 FortiAnalyzer Administrator
- NSE 6 FortiAuthenticator
- NSE 6 FortiNAC
- NSE 6 FortiSwitch
- NSE 6 Secure Wireless LAN
- NSE 6 Cloud Security for AWS
- NSE 6 Cloud Security for Azure
- NSE 5 FortiAnalyzer Analyst
- NSE 5 FortiSIEM
- NSE 6 FortiEDR
- NSE 6 FortiSOAR Administrator


The expiration date of your Fortinet Certified Professional (FCP) certification will be two years from the date you passed the last exam required for the certification. For example:

If you have passed the NSE 4 FortiOS exam and one or more of the additional exams listed above, you will be awarded the respective certifications on October 1, 2023, under the following conditions:

  • You passed either the NSE 4 FortiOS exam or one of the additional exams on or after October 1, 2021.
  • The time between both exams is not more than two years.


The expiration date of the Fortinet Certified Professional (FCP) certification will be two years after the date you completed the last exam required for that certification. For example:
