Why does the NSE 5 FortiAnalyzer (versions 7.0 and earlier) exam count toward the FCP in Network Security and not the FCP in Security Operations?

In Q4 2022, Fortinet released the following role-based FortiAnalyzer training products to replace the former NSE 5 FortiAnalyzer 7.0 course: 


Within the updated NSE certification program structure starting October 1, 2023, the three FortiAnalyzer training courses fall under the following certifications as elective exams:


The older NSE 5 FortiAnalyzer (versions 7.0 and earlier) exam counts toward the FCP in Network Security certification and not the FCP in Security Operations certification because that exam includes all the objectives and competencies currently assessed in the NSE 6 FortiAnalyzer 7.2 Administrator exam, but not all the competencies assessed in the NSE 5 FortiAnalyzer 7.2 Analyst exam.
