The FCSS in Zero Trust Access certification was retired on June 30th, 2025. As Zero Trust Access is now a model implemented through various cybersecurity solutions, this knowledge is valuable for all cybersecurity job roles. Consequently, the content of this certification has been incorporated (where applicable) into other FCSS certifications. All active FCSS in Zero Trust Access certifications will be honored by Fortinet until their expiration date.
To continue learning about ZTNA, we recommend the following courses:
• NSE5 – FortiClient EMS Administrator
• NSE7 – FortiSASE Administrator (if you are using FortiSASE as part of the ZTNA solution)
Your enrollment voucher for the retired instructor-led Zero Trust Access course (FT-ILT-D02), can be redeemed for either of the courses listed above.
The recommended certification paths you can follow, related to ZTNA are:
- If you are using ZTNA with FortiGate only (not FortiSASE), the recommended certification path is: FCP in Network Security → FCSS in Network Security.
- If you are using ZTNA with FortiGate and FortiSASE, the recommended certification path is: FCP in Network Security → FCSS in Secure Access Service Edge.
