If I took an older version of an exam, will it still count towards my NSE Certification?

Yes, for certification levels that require passing different exams, if you passed an exam that is an older version, it will still count towards your NSE Certification only if you complete the certification requirements within a 2-year timeframe.

For recertification, the exams that have already counted towards any NSE Certification will not be counted again. See the Recertification policies page to learn how you can recertify any of your certifications and extend their expiration date.

For more information about the requirements to achieve the current NSE Certification, see What are the Fortinet requirements for the NSE Certification?
