What are the Fortinet NSE Certification requirements?

Each Fortinet NSE Certification level has different program requirements:


NSE 1 - 3 Network Security Associate certifications are achieved by enrolling in the current versions of the courses at the Fortinet Training Institute portal and completing the lessons and quizzes. For more information see:


NSE 4 Network Security Professional certification is achieved by successfully passing the proctored NSE 4 exam at Pearson VUE. For more information see NSE 4 Network Security Professional.


NSE 5 Network Security Analyst certification is achieved by successfully passing any two (2) of the proctored NSE 5 exams at Pearson VUE. For more information see NSE 5 Network Security Analyst.


NSE 6 Network Security Specialist certification is achieved by successfully passing any four (4) of the proctored NSE 6 exams at Pearson VUE. For more information see NSE 6 Network Security Specialist.


NSE 7 Network Security Architect certification is achieved by successfully passing one (1) of the proctored NSE 7 exams at Pearson VUE. For more information see NSE 7 Network Security Architect.


NSE 8 Network Security Expert certification is achieved by successfully passing the proctored NSE 8 written exam at Pearson VUE and then passing the proctored NSE 8 practical exam at Proctor U. For more information see NSE 8 Network Security Expert.
