How to resolve a Slow Session in FortiManager 7.4

Context: Student's lab is very slow / can not do much exercises due to slowness. The device discover process is slow - it keeps spinning without much progress. FortiManager is hanging. Either the process is hanging or showing half way through. Revert or Reboot does not help. New Pod Assignment does not help.


Solution provided by Courseware

"Please have the students run the following command on ISFW FortiGate:


config system central-management
set type none
set allow-push-firmware disable
set allow-remote-firmware-upgrade disable
config server-list
edit 1
set server-type update
set server-address 10.0.1.241
next
edit 2
set server-type rating
set server-address 10.0.1.242
next
end
set include-default-servers disable
end

This should resolve the slowness on FMG and FAZ VMs. The issue was that FMG is getting some unwanted traffic on the single IP to validate FGT rating lookup updates."
