How to create a Fortinet Training Institute portal account?

You must have a Fortinet Training Institute account, to access our training courses and your certification records.

There are three (3) types of Fortinet Training Institute accounts:


Employees - use your Fortinet corporate authentication credentials.


Partners - If you work for a Fortinet Partner company, sign up through the Fortinet Partner Portal. This ensures that your employer’s partner status will reflect your NSE certification achievements. Do not use your personal email address or an alias. 


Public - if you are a customer, end user, or public user, you can sign up for the Fortinet Training Institute portal following this process:

  1. Click the following link to create your public account:
  2. Complete the New Account form – Please fill in the correct details. For more information, see What are the requirements for user accounts?
  3. Click Submit. The below message will display.
  4. Click Continue. The Fortinet Training Institute will send you a confirmation request via email.
  5. Access your inbox for the email address you entered in the New Account form. Please make sure to check your spam/junk folder as well.
  6. Click the URL link received via email to confirm your account. If the URL doesn’t appear as a blue link, copy and paste it to your web browser. A confirmation message of your registration will be displayed.
  7. Click Continue.
